Nursing Board Rulemaking Hearing Wednesday, September 20, 2023

The Department of Regulatory Agencies - Nursing and Nurse Aides will be holding a rulemaking hearing on Wednesday, September 20th, 2023, 9:00 am on rules regarding CHANGE LOCATION: New Rule 1.35. The hearing will be held at: Webinar Only - See Hearing Notes, Denver CO 80202.

The purpose of this rulemaking is: 

The purpose of the Rulemaking Hearing is to allow stakeholders a final opportunity to testify before the Board decides whether to adopt the proposed new Rule 1.35 (RULES AND REGULATIONS REGARDING GENERALLY ACCEPTED STANDARDS OF NURSING PRACTICE REGARDING PREGNANCY-RELATED SERVICES) to implement Colorado Senate Bill 23-190(Concerning Policies to Make Punishable Deceptive Actions regarding Pregnancy-Related Services).

If you believe there will be a significant negative impact on small business, job creation or economic competitiveness, you may request that the Department of Regulatory Agencies require the rulemaking agency to prepare a cost-benefit analysis of a proposed rule or amendment. This request must be made to the Department of Regulatory Agencies by Wednesday, August 30th, 2023.
