CNA Honors Long Time Member & Veteran Marilyn Doenges, APRNNovember 13, 2018 Happy 96th Birthday to Marilyn Doenges, APRN Marilynn E. Doenges, APRN, a retired Registered Nurse, has been recognized as an Elite American Nurses for dedication, achievements and leadership in nursing education. She served as a first lieutenant in the United States Army Nurse Corps during World War II and dedicated 68 years of service to the health care field. She left the service in 1946. She received her Bachelor degree in Boulder, married and raised 5 children. She has co-authored nursing care planning texts and pocket guides that are sold worldwide. She has authored and co-authored many nursing books, including “The Nursing Diagnosis Manual: Planning, Individualizing and Documenting Client Care.” Ms. Doenges believes that she was successful throughout her illustrious career because she was passionate about her work and her profession. |
