Jean Schroeder is going before the CNA board on April 26th to discuss changing the name of the ANT from Nurse Educator/Professional Development (NEPD) to Nursing Education (NE). After the discussion at the April meeting the rationale is that the group wants to address nursing education issues within academic institutions as well as clinical settings that overlap and this name would reflect that mission best. If you have some concerns or questions about the name change you can address them to Jean at [email protected]. Jean will report the outcome of the board meeting at the meeting on May 6th.
