Colorado Department of Public Health Assisted Living Residences Regulatory Review

The Department of Public Health and Environment - State Board of Health will be holding a rulemaking hearing on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020, 10:00 am on rules regarding Revisions to 6 CCR 1011-1 Chapter 7. The hearing will be held at: Remote via Zoom, Denver CO 80246.

The purpose of this rulemaking is: 

 

The proposed changes reorganize and renumber the chapter and updated the rule to reflect industry standards of care and support the Division's specific health and safety expectations. Other small changes reflect updated federal laws, mitigation of unintended financial consequences, and specific feedback from stakeholders during the phase-in implementation of the 2018 rules. Issues identified related to the COVID-19 pandemic response have also been addressed.

If you believe there will be a significant negative impact on small business, job creation or economic competitiveness, you may request that the Department of Regulatory Agencies require the rulemaking agency to prepare a cost-benefit analysis of a proposed rule or amendment. This request must be made to the Department of Regulatory Agencies by Sunday, November 15th, 2020.
